From burnout loops to breakthroughs
What's actually leading you?
There was a time in my early 20s when I was focused on running for fitness. It began as a challenge to myself—can I actually accomplish this goal I set?
Backstory: as a teenager, I was active and athletic, but I had been diagnosed with exercise-induced asthma. That, along with growing anxiety, made running feel nearly impossible.
We’re taught that it's the action alone that creates results—just do the thing.
But that misses a critical component: our nervous system and emotional state.
When I started pushing myself to overcome this “obstacle,” it felt like no matter what I did, the outcome was the same: a measly mile, panting and exhausted.
Ever felt that way? In your career, your healing, your relationships, parenting... where you keep hitting the same wall despite trying your best?
Things shifted when I started understanding how my nervous system was influencing everything.
The nervous system is our processing system. What it can’t process in real time builds up—until we meet it later.
So each time I challenged myself to run, my body was replaying old thoughts ("this is going to be hard") and emotions ("will I be okay?"), pushing me into protection mode and sabotaging my efforts—without me even realizing it.
If we only try to change our behavior without addressing the root—our wiring—we often keep recreating the same result.
When I began nervous system healing, I didn’t have much bandwidth for challenge.
I had to start with patience, compassion, and rebuilding from the inside out.
But slowly, capacity returned. I reintroduced running. And this time, it felt freeing.
I eventually trained for and completed a half marathon.
That moment—running 6 miles for the first time, then 13.1—was the most beautiful reminder that capacity is available.
Don’t give up on where you are right now.
Where in your life do you feel stuck in a loop or hitting the same ceiling?
Bring that into your session this week.
Let’s gently unwire and rewire from the inside out.
Will you Shrink or will you Radiate?
They say stress is contagious…
But so is ease, comfort, and expansion—when you learn to become the thermostat instead of the thermometer.
One of my favorite teachers, Kate Northrup, taught me this analogy in her Relaxed Money program:
The Thermometer reacts to the environment—picking up stress, shrinking to match the chaos.
The Thermostat sets the tone—radiating calm, confidence, and coherence, elevating the space and everyone in it.
So how do you become the thermostat?
Rewire your sense of safety to come from within, not the world around you
Learn to regulate your nervous system—body, mind, and soul
Create systems that support your ability to radiate and expand
If you’ve ever thought, *“Once I have more [money/time/success], then I’ll feel calm”… it might be time to flip the script.
The nervous system is the starting point—not the reward.
That’s why I’m so excited to partner with Kate Northrup and invite you to her free workshop: Good With Money.
This isn’t a budgeting class.
It’s a nervous system-based reset for ambitious folks who want to:
— Stop white-knuckling their way through uncertainty
— Take their power back from external chaos
— And build sustainable wealth from the inside out
You don’t need to wait for the world to settle down.
You can become the calm in the chaos.
The thermostat in the room.
Reserve your free seat now
P.S. If you’ve been doing all the “right” things with money but still feel stuck—this is the shift you’ve been waiting for. For real.

Capacity to Respond versus React,
How you start your day shapes everything.
Ever notice how different your day feels when you:
Wake up rested, reflect on something you’re grateful for, and take a peaceful walk...
vs.
Wake up rushed, hear something upsetting in the news, and feel off all day?
The way you begin your morning can either set you up for reactivity or expand your capacity to respond with presence and ease.
Simple ways to start your day with more capacity:
Feel into gratitude before even getting out of bed.
Keep your phone (emails, news, social) away for at least an hour.
Spend an extra moment in nature, breathe deeply, or connect with your body before diving into the to-do list.
If you’re ready to break free from old patterns, create capacity, and expansion to respond instead of react, I’d love to invite you to Expanded—our April Immersion.
Through bodywork, guided introspection, and community connection this in-person half-day experience will imprint expansion deep within your system—so that responding with calm, clarity, and resilience becomes second nature.

Energy as a Pathway to Connection,
Ever walk into a room and feel the energy shift without a word being spoken?
Try this:
Imagine a warm golden ball in the center of your heart, fill it with loving energy and picture it both clearing stagnation and calling back your power from anywhere you may have let it go in the past.
Pause and notice how deeply you can feel this energy and how wide you can hold it. Gently release when ready.
What do you notice?
For some, energy work (like Reiki, sound healing, or energy infused meditations) creates profound shifts. Others may not feel much—yet! The more we tune in to the subtle nature of energy, the more we notice and recieve.
What’s your experience with energy? I’d love to hear!

Movement as a Pathway to Connection,
Your body was built to move—and that doesn’t always mean intense workouts or scheduled yoga flows but every day connection through movement.
Try this:
Gently sway side to side.
Shake your arms, hands, or legs for 10 seconds.
Notice how your body and breath respond.
For some, movement is the fastest way to discharge stress and reconnect. For others, stillness feels safer. The key is finding what works for you.
Which movement feels best in your body today?

Could your breath be the key to deeper connection?
The invisible bridge to safety & ease,
Your breath is always with you—but how often do you notice it?
Try this now:
Take a slow inhale through your nose, then sigh it out through your mouth.
Now, hold your breath for a moment before exhaling.
What shifts in your body?
Utilized with intention, breath can be an instant doorway to connection, but running on autopilot it could be increasing signals of distress.
If certain breathwork techniques leave you feeling tense rather than calm, that’s ok, and possibly a sign that another pathway might be more supportive for you.

What if your nervous system needs something different?
Your unique imprint for connection,
You are incredibly unique—inside and out. From your fingerprints to your nervous system, no one else moves through the world exactly like you.
And thank goodness for that. Imagine a world where we were all the same—how dull would that be?
Yet, because we’re wired for belonging, it’s natural to adopt things that may not actually align with our unique design.
Take nervous system regulation, for example:
One person might find deep ease in breathwork, while another feels tension.
Energy work might feel expansive for some, while others check out completely.
These are all valuable tools, but the key is finding what resonates with your system. Based on your history and imprinting, some inputs will naturally support you more than others. And as your capacity and resilience grow, new pathways to connection may open.
There are four primary inputs for nervous system connection:
Touch
Breath
Movement
Energy
Which one feels most natural to you? This is often your primary pattern of connection. Some people have multiple, and others may have untapped ways of connecting they haven’t yet explored.
Signs your nervous system is down-regulating and finding deeper connection:
A sense of relaxation
Deeper breath
Softer focus
More flexibility
A greater sense of well-being

Everyone else: Stay tuned—I’ll be sharing more ways to deepen your connection over the next few weeks.
